Too Cool Sisters will be displaying their artwork at the Artisan Boutique in Annapolis, Maryland on November 19, 2006 ~ this is an ALS fundraiser and is a highly prestigious event in the hope to bring awareness and donations to this important cause. Too Cool Sisters (TM)
Thanks for dropping by! We hope you enjoy what you see and will browse again often. Let's introduce ourselves - We are Too Cool Sisters (TM) and we really are two cool sisters! We are both artists and have very unique and special skills in our respective fields of art.
Barbee Schlaich is a painter in the Decorative Arts and has also been an instructor in Decorative Painting. With a keen eye for color and design, her clientele list includes commissions for boutiques on both the West and East Coast. In a variety of subjects and styles, Barbee creates a creative display of gifts and home decor from glassware to home accents. She has even done work for some of the oldest homes in Annapolis and also for local schools.
Originally from southern California, Barbee moved to Maryland where she now resides and is the Mother to three handsome young sons.
Gina Draker is a professional sculptor in the Toy and Collectible Industry and has been creating prototypes for various companies such as Disney, Warner Bros,Goebel Miniatures, Mattel, George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch, American Greetings and Gentle Giant, among others. For many years Gina was the senior in-house sculptor at Applause, Inc. and receives great satisfaction at seeing her toys in the hands of smiling children! Gina lives in southern California and is a single Mom of two Lovely Daughters and a chubby dachshund.
